“Being the richest man in the cemetery doesn’t matter to me … Going to bed at night saying we’ve done something wonderful… that’s what matters to me.”
(Quoted in the Wall Street Journal (Summer 1993)

Steve Jobs….the man who transformed the world with his innovative approach, ideas and creativity. The former Apple CEO was a visionary in the world of computing and is largely responsible for the level at which computers are integrated with our everyday lives. Initially, from a mouse to making of iMac, iPod, iPad, iTunes and iPhone….this guy revolutionized the world of computers.
Here, to express my respect and inspiration for this legend, I have researched his life added with pictures, to let the world know that what we will MISS now…

Early Life:

Steven Jobs was born February 24, 1955, in San Francisco, California, and was adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs and grew up in Silicon Valley. He grew up with one sister, Patty. Paul Jobs was skilled at fixing cars.
As a child, Jobs preferred doing things by himself. He swam competitively, but was not interested in team sports or other group activities. At an early age his interests developed in electronics and gadgetry. He spent a lot of time working in the garage workshop of a neighbor who worked at Hewlett-Packard, an electronics manufacturer.
Following his interests, Jobs also enrolled in the Hewlett-Packard Explorer Club. There he saw engineers exhibit new electronic products, and saw a computer at the age of twelve for the first time. He was very impressed, and knew right away that he wanted to work with computers.

Education and Early College Days:

Steve Jobs – A Short Biography of a Great Legend
When Steve arrived in Homestead High School, he enrolled in a popular electronics class. After graduating from high school in 1972, Jobs attended Reed College in Portland, Oregon, for two years. However, the tuition for Reed was so expensive that Paul and Clara could hardly afford it. Yet they were bound by the promise they’d make to their son’s biological mother, so they spent almost their entire life’s savings on their son’s higher education.
Steve only officially stayed for a couple of months at Reed. He dropped out before Christmas. He dropped out after one semester to visit India and study eastern religions in the summer of 1974.

“Apple” Days:

Steve Jobs – A Short Biography of a Great Legend
In 1975 Jobs joined a group known as the Homebrew Computer Club. One member, a technical whiz named Steve Wozniak (1950), was trying to build a small computer. Jobs became fascinated with the marketing potential of such a computer. In 1976 he and Wozniak formed their own company. They called it Apple Computer Company, in memory of a happy summer Jobs had spent picking apples. They raised $1,300 in startup money by selling Jobs’s microbus and Wozniak’s calculator. At first they sold circuit boards (the boards that hold the internal components of a computer) while they worked on the computer prototype.

Apple II and the Personal Computer Era:

Looking at the self created huge computer, Steve realized there was a huge gap in the computer market. Advances in electronics, meant that computer components were getting smaller and the power of the computer was increasing. Jobs and Wozniak redesigned their computer, with the idea of selling it to individual users. The Apple II went to market in 1977, with impressive first year sales of $2.7 million. The company’s sales grew to $200 million within three years. This was one of the most phenomenal cases of corporate growth in U.S. history. Jobs and Wozniak had opened an entirely new market—personal computers.

Arrival of “Mac”

Steve Jobs – A Short Biography of a Great Legend
The Macintosh came into being in 1984, a revolutionary new model. It took the graphical user interface software – the desktop and mouse-controlled cursor you see on your screen today – from an earlier personal computer design called ‘Lisa’ and made it faster, far more affordable and a commercial success. However, The Macintosh did not sell well to businesses and this failure of the Macintosh signaled the beginning of Jobs’s downfall at Apple.

Emergence of ‘Next’

Steve Jobs – A Short Biography of a Great Legend
Jobs lured John Scullery away from Pepsi-Cola in 1983 to become Apple’s chief executive. When sales started to slump in 1984 Jobs’ relationship with Scullery began to deteriorate – a power struggle ensued that eventually saw Jobs resign.
In 1986 Jobs founded a new company called NeXT – abandoning the company’s hardware division in the early nineties to concentrate on software development. In 1996 Apple bought NeXT for $429 million and Jobs returned to Apple as an adviser where he was then made chief executive in 1997.

Back to Apple:

Steve Jobs – A Short Biography of a Great Legend
Apple’s iPod portable music player and iTunes store is heralded as revolutionizing the way people listen to and buy music. Launched in 2001 Apple’s first iPod cost $499, paving the iPod Nano, iPod Touch and iPod Shuffle, which came later. iTunes was also launched in 2001, adding an online music store in 2003 – the first ever legal online music store. As of this year iTunes has sold over 16 billion songs.

Purchased Pixar:

Is also Chairman and CEO of Pixar, the Academy-Award-winning computer animation studios which he co-founded in 1986. Pixar’s first feature film, Toy Story, was released by Walt Disney Pictures in November 1995 and became the highest domestic grossing film released that year and the third highest grossing animated film of all time.

Controversial Personal Life:

Although not much is found and read about Steve Jobs teenage marriage with Chrisann Brennan, out of which they had a daughter named Lisa Brennan Jobs. Initially, he disowned her and denied to pay any child support. However, later the father and daughter reconnected in 1992 and spend vacations together.

However, his publicly known marriage was the one with Laurene in 1990, to whom he was married for 20 years, their three children and a fourth child from a previous relationship. He spent increasingly more time with his son Reed and daughters Erin and Eve. His then-teenage daughter Lisa also joined the family.

Steves Houses:

Steve bought his Palo Alto home in the mid-1990s, after his marriage with Laurene. The house is the British country style, it fits beautifully with the rest of this quiet neighborhood — and certainly does not stand out as the house of a high-tech/media mogul. Steve lives here with his wife Laurene and his three kids Reed, Erin and Eve, who were all raised there
From people who have seen it, the house is lightly furnished, but much more so than Steve’s Woodside mansion during his bachelor days.

His illness and Last days:

Jobs was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2004. After surgery he returned to Apple, but had to take another leave of absence in 2009, ultimately undergoing a liver transplant. He took his final leave of absence in January 2011.
In August, he formally resigned as CEO. “I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple’s CEO, I would be the first to let you know. Unfortunately, that day has come,” Jobs said in a letter addressed “to the Apple Board of Directors and the Apple Community.”
However, on 5th October, 2011, the co-founder of Apple Inc, one of the world’s great entrepreneurs, was surrounded by his wife and immediate family when he died in Palo Alto, California.

God My Father

God My Father

I am Egyptian. After I graduated from the University of Cairo, I decided to go to Jordan to look for work.
One night I was very sad and desperate. I was feeling very down and I didn’t know where to go. I was walking without any direction, when I saw a church building and some people inside. I heard songs and asked myself, “What they are doing there?”
I believed that these Christians worshiped three gods. A voice inside me kept pushing me to go in and see what was going on. Our religion prohibits us from entering a church, but I was very sad and was willing to do anything to forget my sadness.
I went in and sat on the bench in the last row. After the songs were finished, a tiny man stood and started to talk about God the Father. I was shocked. How could this person call God a father? This was the first time in my life I had heard this. The man read from a book, “And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink. Do not worry about it. For the pagan world runs after all such things and your Father knows that you need them.” Luke 12: 29-30.
He started to explain, saying that God our Father knows our sadness, hurt feelings, and what we are going through. He is listening to us. He stated that we can talk with our heavenly Father, explain our problems to Him, and He will answer. I felt that this person was talking directly to me.
When I went home, every word stuck in my mind. I couldn’t sleep that night, and I found myself repeating, “God my Father, please help me.”
The following week I went back to the same church and asked somebody to help me understand more about my heavenly Father and the Bible. I became a follower of Jesus Christ, enjoying God’s fatherhood.

LIfe Stories

Life Stories

 Set Free in Prison

One day a colleague sent me to the prison to visit a person who had turned his back on our religion and become a follower of Jesus Christ. They chose me because I am a lawyer and I should be able to convince him to come back to his roots and traditional religion.
I went to meet with him and told him, “Come back and we will forgive you. Otherwise you will face execution.”
He asked me, “Have you read the Bible?”
“No,” I answered, “but I know some stories from the Bible.”
“Then take this Bible and read it. Then come back to me,” he replied.
I took the Bible and out of curiosity I started reading it. It was unusual and interesting, and the more I read the more I loved it. I spent 18 days just reading. Then I came to John 1:1, “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.” This verse struck me, because in our holy book we have similar words about Jesus, that he is the “Word of God”. During this time I was thinking deeply about Jesus, but I was still praying to Allah in my way.
One day I was lying in bed and I saw a number of people come to me and ask me to pray! I said, “I am praying.” They said, “No. Get up and pray.” Then they disappeared.
My eyes and my heart started to open. I went back to the prison and met with the prisoner many times. He explained some issues about Jesus Christ to me.
On May 10, 1998 I went to the prison again and I asked the priest who was leading the Christian prisoners in worship to let me attend the meeting. He was surprised. In the middle of the worship service I stood up and asked the priest to give me a chance to speak. I said, “Today I gave my life to Jesus Christ and became one of his followers.” This was the most wonderful moment in my life. My soul was set free inside a prison in Sudan!
After this everyone knew and the police arrested me. My family burned everything that belonged to me. I spent many months in jail and was tortured. At last I fled with my wife and two children outside Sudan to worship my Lord and King Jesus Christ freely.

Birth of Sri Hanuman Ji

Birth of Sri Hanuman Ji

Anjana, who became the mother of Hanuman Ji, was one of the sixteen matrikas. The matrikas are adored and worshipped ladies of celestial, astral and material planes of the universe. Once Anjana assumed the form of a lady tourist visiting Svah planet, a few million miles beyond the polestar. She arrived in the assembly of Indra, the king of Svah planet. Some how the king was attracted to her and requested her to make love with him. She rebuked him severely and said, who would like to make love with you, a fallen one with the signs of a thousand eyes!”
King Indra could not bear this insult and cursing her, he replied, “You are very vain because of your beauty. You will be born in the monkey faced Vanara race”.
While Indra was cursing Anjana, Anjana’s dearest friend Adrika (out of love for Anjana), tried to insult Indra by meowing like a cat. Indra then cursed her saying, “You will become cat faced in your next life!”
In course of time, both friends were born as the twin daughters of Kunja, a Vanara knight. When they grew up, Keshari, a famous knight of the Vanara race. Married both of them. Then, one day while, Keshari was in meditation at the southern seashore, Maharishi Agastya became the atithi of Keshari. Both of Keshari’s wives welcomed the unexpected guest and served him whole heartedly. Agastya was highly satisfied and told the wives to ask for any boon they wished.
“I want the mightiest son, who will be highly bold and strong in the world. Totally devoted to universe welfare,” Anjana requested.
“So be it,” Maharishi Agastya approved the wish for both of them, and in due course of time, Anjana gave birth to Sri Hanuman Ji who became all powerful and Adrika gave birth to a son, Adri by name, who became governor of all the goblins.
Soon after Maharishi granted the boon, Maharishi Agastya realized that Lord Shiva himself was going to be born as the son of Anjana. He ordered her to go to meditate on the hill Venkatadri in Vrishabhachal on the bank of Akashaganga. This was the most appropriate place to materialize her desire. Thus, one day, she was absorbed in a long meditation, the wind God appeared and said, “Adorable devi, I am pleased with you. You will attain a mighty son, one who will not be affected by any weapons whatsoever. I shall become your son myself. He will be equal to me in power and speed. Thus saying, the wind God infused his light into mother Anjana.
Great souls seldom move from their celestial abodes unless there is a mission for them to fulfill. Then the whole creation awaits their advent. In the same way, there were do many reasons for the advent of Sri Hanuman ji. The natural instinct of Keshari was to wander around to different holy places, and when ever found a scenic garden he used to sit in long meditation. Once, while he was residing in Gokarna (a holy place of Lord Shiva near Goa), he found a great monster, Shambasadana, continuously persecuting the holy saints who were residing there. Keshari confronted this monster and hit him forcefully with his fist. There was a great wrestling match and at last Keshari was successful in slaying him.
All of the rishis were extremely happy with Keshari’s feat and blessed him so that he might attain an almighty, enlightened son, who would become very hot tempered to any unjust act. They then offered a very powerful mantra of Lord Shiva. After Keshari had been repeating this powerful mantra, Lord Shiva appeared and blessed him, and Lord Shiva’s light entered into Keshari’s body. Keshari felt as if he was no longer a mortal. When the rishis saw him full of effulgence they suggested that he return to his home.
At the same moment, Anjana returned home after receiving her boon from the wind God. When she saw her husband after such a long time she was filled with rapturous joy and fell down at his feet. Keshari was overwhelmed with love. He raised her u with his two arms and embraced her, and for some time they became one in that universal silence. Keshari did not remain Keshari and Anjana was no longer Anjana, they became one in love trance and in that love trance Shiva’s light, which was abiding in Keshari was transmitted to Anjana. She felt as if bathed in effulgent bliss, light, and grace. Now Keshari became as he was before the visit of Lord Shiva. All of Lord Siva’s effulgence was transmitted to Anjana.
Anjana abandoned that special simple dress which she had adopted in the time of separation from her dear husband. She wore instead a gorgeous silk sari, golden necklaces, a crown earrings embedded with gems and jewels. She was adorned beautifully! The husband and wife began to enjoy in the groves on the top of the mountain.
On the planet Bramha, which is situated about one hundred and sixteen million miles above polestar, there was a nymph whose name was Suvarchala. She was very fond of blossoming, fragrant flowers. Once she rushed to some flowers in the assembly of Bramha. The creator, Brahma, is found of good manners and certain formalities and was not pleased with Suvarchal’s impulsive action he cursed her saying. “You, being born into the race of gods, possess no patience, so you will become a crow”,
Suvarchala repented and, falling at his feet, asked for a pardon from Lord Brahma, He mercifully forgave her and said, “In the silver age, on planer Earth, king Dasjaratha will receive a bowl of diving rice pudding after his ceremony of putreshthi yajna. He will then distribute it among his three queens. You woll take away queen Sumitra’s share, and then by the touch of that divine, blesses rice pudding you will attain your original form and come to my planet again.”
The time described by Brahma arrived and king Dashatatha was performing his fire sacrifices festivity on the bank of the holy Sarayu river. It was definitely an interplanetary festivity. King Dasharatha fed millions of guests. He offered almost all of his property and empire to enlightened rishis, which they, in turn, gave back to him after accepting a small exchange.
A huge masculine form then arose from the sacrificial fire with a bowl of celestial rice pudding in his hand. His body was red like ultraviolet rays. He had long golden hair, a long beard, and large eyes. He spoke like a rumbling cloud, saying, “My dear king Dasharatha, the gods of higher planets are highly satisfied with you because of your sacrificial festivity, and they have sent you this rice pudding, let the queens respectfully eat it and then they will give birth to four incomparable babies who will redeem the earth from all the evil forces.”
The whole assembly of saints, kings, and rishis were all silent while the king was distributing the rice pudding among his queens. As soon as the king placed a protion in the open palms of Sumitra, Suvarchala, in her form as a crow, jumped as it. She held it fast with her legs and beak and flew away high into the sky. Kousalya ans Kaikeyi, the other two queens, shared their porting of pudding with Sumitra. Thus Sumitra gave birth to two babies.
As soon as the crow rushed to the open sky there arose a heavy wind and hurricane. The bird stumbled and the rice pudding was touched by her body. Immediately she regained her celestial form and the body of the crow fell down to earth. The wind god then took the bowl pudding and appeared on the hill top groves where the couple, Anjana and Keshari, was wandering. The wind told Keshari and Anjana that he had come there to offer them with celestial rice pudding,
“Allow Anjana to eat it and she will give birth to the mightiest child, a boon I was granted her some time ago.”
After receiving the order from her dear husband, Anjana accepted the bowl of rice pudding. Feeling much joy she put it against her heart and head and then wind
God disappeared. Anjana ate the pudding and became pregnant. Soon after, as demigod races do not require the full nine months in womb, she gave birth to Sri Hanuman ji on Tuesday, in the month of October. This is why all great devotees of Sri Hanuman ji observe a fast on Tuesdays. Then take only fruits and milk products, and communicate with Sri Hanuman ji.
Sri Hanuman ji was born completely adorned with golden crown, gemmed earrings, underpants and sacred thread. He was yellowed eyed and there was golden hair all over his body.

God and Satan

God and Satan: The True Story

God and Satan

The true story behind this history of evil, wars and suffering

God said, "The Messiah will be born and he will teach them how to love." "No", answered Satan, "I will make them proud, so they will criticize everyone else and bring more hatred and evil"

This is the true story of how it all started. Once upon a time, God said, "I will create men and women and they will fill the world with love, creating beautiful families, raising happy children." It took him 3 billion years to create the basic atoms. The universe was expanding. Few billion years later he could create the heavy chemical elements necessary to create life.

He prepared a small planet in the Milky Way galaxy, saying: "I want them to have the best position to observe the universe, explore and understand how I created everything. And I will make them capable of feeling my heart and understanding the universal laws and principles. Thus, they will be my children and they will be able to create by themselves."

God's Children
After millions of years of writing and sophisticating the DNA program, finally the day came when his first son and daughter could be born. At the birth he gave them spirit, beyond that of any animal, so they can have direct connection to him and dominate the rest of the creation.

There was only one thing they were not allowed; To consume the sexual love before their hearts are mature. As every parent, God knew, that if they entered in immature love, they will produce immature children incapable to relate with Him.

Lucifer was God's first helper and he knew that. He was God's favorite and a leader to the angels. His joy was to fulfill each request of God. But soon he found himself in uneasy position. God's children were growing and doing things by themselves. God was giving more love and attention to them. So jealousy grew in his heart.

Satan and the Free Sex
As older and more mature he fascinated Eve and led her into the only thing she was not yet to do. He seduced her in sexual love and conveyed all his heavy feelings into her innocent heart.

But her conscience immediately felt that she is disconnected from God. She tried to share her fears and pain with Adam, but the only thing she did was to seduce him in the same sexual lust.

This is how God lost his children. Now they and their descendants where tied in blood with Lucifer and he became Satan - a false father and false god to humankind.

Now their hearts were immature, selfish and filled with fear, worries, resentments and distrust. How could they even function normally? They were originally created to live only in complete relationship with God.

Then Satan told to God, "Whatever you do, I will always lead them in the opposite direction." God said, "Some of my children will still sense what's good and through them I will restore my children." "No", answered Satan, "when they see what is evil, I'll make them hate it. They will be full with resentment and too will become my children, perpetuating animosity and evil."

God said, "A child will be born without sin. His name will be Jesusand he will teach them how to love one another, instead of hate." "No", answered Satan, "They will follow him, but instead of love I will make them proud, so they will criticize everyone else and bring more hatred and conflicts instead of love. So they will also be my children, not yours."

The Last Days of Satan
God was full with pain and sorrow, but he didn't give up. "I will raise a pure son and daughter, and they will create the first True Family. They will teach the whole humanity to live as one united familycentered on me, in peace, love and harmony, beyond religion, nationality and race. Then you will be helpless to spread your ways of evil."

Then Satan became desperate and started spreading free sex through all possible ways. He was bombarding God's children from everywhere.

"I will not leave even one pure child in this world, capable to create stabile family", he thought. "Children will be born from fornication, raised without two parents. I will distort even the concept of what is family."

Satan knew his time is soon over. This are the last days. TheMessiah, the second advent of Christ, the True Parents, arealready on the earth. It's only a matter of time until the worldrecognizes them and then Satan's power will be destroyed once and forever

Why Do Onions Make You Cry?

Question: Why Do Onions Make You Cry?
Answer: Unless you've avoided cooking, you've probably cut up an onion and experienced the burning and tearing you get from the vapors. When you cut an onion, you break cells, releasing their contents. Amino acid sulfoxides form sulfenic acids. Enzymes that were kept separate now are free to mix with the sulfenic acids to produce propanethiol S-oxide, a volatile sulfur compound that wafts upward toward your eyes. This gas reacts with the water in your tears to form sulfuric acid. The sulfuric acid burns, stimulating your eyes to release more tears to wash the irritant away.
Cooking the onion inactivates the enzyme, so while the smell of cooked onions may be strong, it doesn't burn your eyes. Aside from wearing safety goggles or running a fan, you can keep from crying by refrigerating your onion before cutting it (slows reactions and changes the chemistry inside the onion) or by cutting the onion under water.
The sulfur-containing compounds also leave a characteristic odor on your fingers. You may be able to remove or reduce some of the smell by wiping your fingers on a stainless steel odor eater
